Halloween Night and Donuts

The annual Donuts and Root beer with the Tanner's. This has become a tradition that Mark loves. As many know from last year's blog this was started by his parents when he was a kid. When Jolene mentioned it he said that it brought back so many memories. If I remember right (it was almost a month ago) we handed out over 500 donuts this year. The boys wanted to wear the same costumes as last year. That was a great idea since this year they had grown into them and they fit so well. Also they are in great condition even with the wear and tear. Allyson was a Fairy Ballerina. They only went trick or treating for about 1 hr max and where done.

Halloween Morning and Pumpkin's

Since Halloween was on a Saturday we decided to wait until that day to carve our pumpkins. They turned out very well if I do say so myself. Here are the pictures of our 2009 Halloween Pumpkins with some pictures of the kids that day. The kids had some really small pumpkin's which made it really hard. Dad got all the insides out once the kids were done and mom carved them.

Allyson's eye

The week before Halloween Allyson was at school playing duck duck goose. From the story we got as one of the little boys was standing up to chase her his forehead hit her eye and the end result was a black eye. She went to the office and they called dad but she wanted to go back to class. What a trooper. Here are some pictures a few days after. Not real good but her eye from her nose all the way to her temple was bruised.
