This week October 21-25

Well we are just about up to date on our shots. Tristan and Allyson both got theirs last week. Tristan's of course in true fashion welted and bruised. Allyson just got hers on Friday so time will tell, so far not to bad. Gavin got a runny nose and cough the end of the week. Hope it does not get any worse then that.

Friday October 25Th was our Church Halloween party. Mark made salsa, and it was great. Sweet at the first taste then the kick at the end. Allyson was Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty, Tristan was Spider man and Gavin was Batman. All had a great time. They love to dress up. This year we had a carnival with games that the kids had to play to get candy.

Random Stuff

Here are some random pictures from this weekend.

Tristan jumping up the slide.

Allyson jumping up the slide.

Gavin just trying to hold on.

Gavin not big enough for the scooter.

Tristan loves being able to ride his scooter again!

Allyson loves her scooter but would rather be in the pool.

The kids all have some words that they love to say. Gavin's favorite word is peanut. He calls everyone and everything peanut. He also says yah baby! He had his 3 year check up and got some shots on Saturday. He is 32.8 pounds only about 2 pounds lighter then the Twins, and he is just over 3 feet tall. Which is in the 88th percentile for his age. He is all caught up on his shots and the Twins are behind. Mom needs to get on the ball and get them caught up since they will have to register for school soon. Allyson's new word is ridiculous, however she says it ri-dic-a-lus. Tristan loves to say Never, inseatd of NO. He also says stop teasing me. So he seems to get teased more.

No More Diapers!!!!

Well I don't have any pictures for this, but WE ARE COMPLETELY DONE WITH DIAPERS!!!! We are so excited. Although Gavin has been completely potty trained for a few months, we were still putting him in a pull up at night just to be on the safe side. Just over a week ago we ran out and that was it. So he is in big boy pants all the time. No more Diaper Bags, wow, this is a freedom that I have not felt in almost 5 year. I do carry a larger purse but it is not filled up with diapers.

As for Tristan's arm it is much better. He still has a long way to go before it is completely better, but he is out of the sling and ace bandage.

Tristan and Allyson are learning to tell time. On digital clocks, next it will be time to teach them on an analog clock.

Railway Train Museum

On September 20TH we went to that Railway Train Museum for a work picnic for mom. We got to ride some Trolleys, one of which was used in some movies and a Steam Train. The kids had a blast.

Tristan 2nd ER visit in 4 months

On September 19TH, Friday, Tristan fell while playing hide and seek straight arm for the 2nd time in 4 months. His cousin Garrett a boyscout made him a sling. The next day it seemed to get better, but on Sunday it was still swollen and seemed more bruised so Mark took him to the ER. At the time the Doctor said that his elbow was fractured. Which we found out a week later that it was not fractured but that the fat pad in his elbow was injured and that he had to keep it in an ace bandage and sling for at least 2 more weeks with no outside playing and that we would have to work it out at night. If after the 2 weeks it is not better we will have to take him to an orthopedist.

Palm Springs

Mark and Kami went to Palm springs on September 6Th- September 7Th, just for the one night alone. It was 115 degrees and it was nice just to swim and walk around the city with no time schedule and no kids. Although we had a great time without the kids it was nice to get home to them as well.
