Sunday July 5th.

Well Sunday's are normally very uneventful. Well not this day. We normally get up and go to church and have a nice peaceful day. Not today. No pictures for this but Mom ended up taking Gavin to the ER. Here is how the story goes.



We slept in after a very late night out on the 4Th. Gavin was the first one up. The others were up not too long after. We took our baths and sat down to have some cereal. Not sure what and how and if he was dared to do it, but as Mom walked into the room to see how the kids were doing she hears "Tristan can you get this out of my ear?" It got moms attention and she watched Tristan pull a piece of cereal out of Gavin's right ear only to have him ask mom to get the piece out of his left ear. She did not see it at first. After inspection she sees it pushed in his ear. Still a whole piece. Mom calls Dad in for a consultation, and they see that they will not be able to use the tweezers to get it. So they decide to flush his ear with water and then were able to pull a small piece out. Dad left with Tristan and Allyson to church and mom continues to work at getting the cereal out. She tries to flush it out which is the only option and then calls Grandma for some help who tells her to throw in the towel and take him in for some help. Once there the nurses laughed but thought he was so cute. They gave him a coloring book and crayons to occupy him while they flush his ear. Well we finally get the rest of the cereal out. He looks at mom and says "I will not put cereal in my ear mom, I will eat it only". After an RX of antibiotic drops we were back home within 1 1/2 hours. Not bad!



This is not our first visit and by far not the last visit to the ER, but it will be the funniest.
