This is a short but funny story. It really shows how kids think. So it is no big secret that mom colors her hair. Just look at her roots and you can see how dark her hair is. Well she does it at home herself. It saves time and money. It is only hair and will grow back if you mess up. So the day she was doing it she decides to scare the kids. It did not phase them, but Tristan told her how much he likes her hair dark. He could not really grasp the idea and very simply asked "Mom what color crayon are you using?".
